INTRODUCTION

Today I will be talking about "Money" as my topic it's advantage and it's origin (how it became paper from gold). It's going to be kind of a long post, so tighten your seat belt and get ready to drive.

Let's also take a dictionary meaning, so it can be in two levels which are simple (lame man terms) and standard definition.

Money is of uttermost importance in this society built by us, money bring about of maintenance of every dream you put together, that's why the bible also said that GOD wills that we prosper because of how important it has become, money is one commodity or substance that must be managed properly because it's advantages and disadvantages are very high, Before stating the advantages and disadvantages I will be stating the origin of paper money.

ORIGIN OF MONEY

Money can be anything not just paper so how come money became paper, I will be writing this in my own perspective gotten from various reaserach and what I learnt in school. Trade by barter was the first form of exchange that ever occured in world history, it still even plays today as counter trade, trade by batter was simply give me this foodstuff and I will give you my own foodstuff or whatever it is they wanted but as you all know it lasted for little period and problem arises because of double coincidence of wants meaning if I want yam for breakfast and I have rice and finally I found someone with yam, it has to be that the person needed rice if not, no trade this troubled humanity then we happened to have found gold & silver which we made into coins we used it for a while, because of the weight of this items people usually store their gold with a goldsmith which stored them in a room called the strongroom and gave them receipts as a sign they stored it with him, in the course of time some people started exchanging their receipts for items and that receipt has developed to become the money we see today.

Now knowing this origin you come to know how it came into existence and how it's value originated, we will be looking at it's advantage and disadvantages,

Advantages

1 Money is been used as a means of exchange
2 it dissolved the crisis of coincidence of want
3 it improves the standard of living

Disadvantages

1 Money is produced in excess causes shortage of goods
2 it brings about poor standard of living if not managed properly
3 it causes people to indulge in alot of unreasonable practice to get it.
