Introduction

Hey everyone am back again with another post about what am learning in school, it's quite shocking when I saw the timetable saying I had library studies, I was like what to do I need to learn in library studies that will take 1 year to know, so I waited for the class and i saw a few old things but also new things I didn't know.

As the lesson started she(lecturer) began with the meaning of a librarian she gave her meaning but I will also share a dictionary meaning;

A librarian is an individual that knows not but we're all are found

One who cares for the publications, files etc. in a library, whether staff or volunteer.

Based on her definition, "a librarian knows not but we're all is found", simply means the librarian doesn't know all the information stored in the library but he does know we're to find them, which makes a librarian a vital office.
She went further to explain that they are different types of librarian which are;

• Registrar/Electronic librarian

The registrar is an individual in a library that keep records of people going in or out of the library and also the name of the people who borrows books. They are very Vital she said because they are responsible for alot from their meaning you can tell.

• Reference librarian

Is a librarian who people explains things concerning a book they need and they help them find it. This is were I will stop for the types of librarian and shift into the types library.

Under the types of library we have;

1 Public library

Public library is a library been established by the state for the common man, that is to say for those who doesn't have enough money to go to other types of library, it is usually for a particular community.
