HOW WELL DO YOU KNOW STEEMIT CONTEST @IRENE-HIC

I was finding it very different to understand steemit at first but as time went on, it's been awsome. I can't say i understand everything thing now but i will share with you how well i have come to understand steemit.
Steemit is a social media blockchain that grows communites, and rewards it's members as they write, post and upvote in these communities. Reward is paid in a crypto currency called steem. Every community has it's peculiarity. Each has rules and post must be made according to the rules of which every community you choose to post in. It's advisable to join as many communities as possible.
One thing i know for sure about steemit is that it frowns at plagiarism. According to dictionary definition, plagiarism means (uncountable) Copying of another person's ideas, text or other creative work, and presenting it as one's own, especially without permission. Steemit appreciates when u express your self through what ever write up you post in your own words. When you write and post into a community, your post gets voted. The more upvotes you get, the more steem dollar you acquire. The amount of steem dollar you get from one post is determined by the steem power of the voters. Someone who has a higher steem power will give you more steem dollars compared to one with lower steem power. You also get rewarded when you vote on people's post.
Before i joined steemit, the person who finally convinced me to join told me that each time i post something, i must get votes, even if it doesn't makes sense. I thought to my self, wow that's interesting. To my greatest surprise, when i finally joined, i discovered that it wasn't true. At first i was wondering why, even though i took my time to write and still got no votes. I had to start reading post from different team leaders, community founders, greeters, and i found out that you need to make quality post to get votes. Sometimes you may write quality post and still not get voted. just as i said earlier, u have to be mindful of the rules of each community when making a post. Did you follow the rules, are u posting in the community, or are u posting in your blog because usually post are made under communities, are you using the right tags and all that.

You should see this appear. Fill in all the details required and click on send code. A code will be sent to you through the phone number you provided. Put it in the next code box below and click send code. Click continue and sign up. During this process, a pdf file will be given to you. These file contains all your keys and u need to be very carefull with it and save it offline.
Usually it doesn't feel good when you see others having so many votes while you have little or nothing. What u need to do is to he patient and keep posting. Take your mind off the cash and enjoy what you are doing. Consistency is the key. Those people you admire were once in this level of having no votes.
Being part of steem has alot of advantages asides the fact that you make money, it can also help you work on your vocabulary. It will also help.you improve on your writing skills.
Its not easy bringing out time to write on this platform especially for me with a busy schedule, yet i try to squeeze of time, sometimes i forgo some things just so i can be active because writing takes time and concentration. I Love steemit and the reward it gives me, so i took it upon my self to bring more people to join even without recognition. It's beautiful seeing people getting happy, getting help and financial aid they couldn't get from other places. Steemit has been helping me and i will help others too by getting them to join.
Lastly i will talk about steem power. Steem power is token that can not be withdrawn Immediately. Steem power gives you influence on steemit. You earn more curation rewards and also be able able to reward authors when you have a higher steem power just as i discussed above. Usually, the reward setting for post is such that 50% of that reward goes to steem dollar while the other goes as steem power. You can increase your steem power by changing the setting of that particular post to 100%, meaning all the reward of that post be given as steem power. This setting does not affect other post except you set it again.
