INTRODUCTION

Good day to all #steemians on these very great plat form @steemit. college of education is indeed a great institution that is interested in training students to be great teachers in the society, state, and the country at large, not only stoping there the institution has move on to give it's student to power to involve in politics in other to help the student be effective citizens with great dignity.

          METHOD OF POLITICS

The method of politics run in college of education is democracy, which is know in layman understanding as the government of the people, for the people and by the people. the gives the student to choice who there want to represent then in the three tiers, as follows

1. Student union government (SUG)
2. Nasarawa state Student association president (NASSA)
3. Department presidents.
   just to list but few, the above posts are contest by Students who have attained the CGPA of 3.50. and the student who are to contest must purchase a ticket from the campaign officers based of the position he or she is contesting for, the money is in different categories as high as the position is so is the ticket money. As for the position of student Union government (SUG) it is thirty thousand naira only and that of NASSA president is just twenty-five thousands only, just to list but few.
   At a point the school give the students opportunity to run there campaign within the school premises, these act is down using material to share to the student and telling the student your motive for contesting for the position, you motive towards students education at the high level, your aims in the political system.

TODAYS POLITICAL CAMPAIGN

Today was not an exception, as early as 6:00am student how are contesting for a position where out already with drummers along side with them and singers singin praise song, that portray hope and victory to the contestants, moving from on hostel to another

    AT MUSTAPHA (A)

the contestants came out and address the students first and moved on in telling the student his motive for contesting for the position of the students union government (SUG). that the students should vote him, he will make sure they issue are well address, there educational challenges will be put to an end most especially to the female Students who are mostly make-handle by lecturer, he also promise the students that he will be the voice of the voiceless students and he proceed to another hostel.

He come out vehemently and address the students again at this point it was ladies, who has been facing alots of challenges in terms of infrastructure in the school and lack of constant supply of water. he promised them that his reign will make sure they have the best in terms of the above listed issue there are facing. the ladies where really happy to see him address there issues in such a great and humble manner.
CONCLUSION
At about 8:34am the campaign drew to an end where all the students return to there various departments to continue with reading, lectures and doing of assignments, not forgetting those who where also summiting.
