Great day to all you dear friends on steemit, hope life is okay with you and you are healthy and happy.
I am happy to participate in this writing challenge contest organized be @steemalive entitled NOT JUST OK honestly, if everything is okay there will be no need for improvement, I love this contest as it will help all members of steemalive and all steemians to do more in their steemit blogging and all aspects of their lives so i am going to write on health
YOUR HEALTH IS A JOURNEY
We all are doing our best to give our life a special treat or attention sometimes and if challenges come we forget about our health, i want us to understand that health is priority in life, if there is something you must care for is your health, when you care for your health it will in turn care for you.
It is a process because everything is connected
Health journey is a process or a continuous thing, you need to sit down and check areas you need to improve in your health and write it down and follow it step by step, you need to check your diet,exercise, quality sleep, if you find out the one that you are not really doing well on it start from it, that is how the journey begins, if you notice that you always fall sick, find out the cuase by listening to your body, can you recall what happened last before you fall sick, has it happened before? if yes, ask yourself what did i do last time to treat it? What can i do to prevent it? Should i care for it in another way? All this health challenging question will help you to improve in your health.
Dont forget that all the bodies is connected to each other, when you are having ear pain, think about your eye, throat, lungs, heart because they all connected so checking all will help you to spend less than treating them later.
you need to set achievable goal in your health journey.
You will agree with me that most people really want to care for their health but sometimes they find out that they are not taking care of themselves at all, for example a mother will say since i have this 3 kids, i find it difficult to sleep again both afternoon and night, another business man will say
Because of business i don't even have time for myself, i will not remember the last time I took my children out even my wife is complaining about it but i don't have the time, i am giving them money to care for themselves so whenever I have time i will take care of myself.
If you fall in this set of people you don't have gaol in your health journey, in achieving your goal, first thing first and that is your health, did you set aside time for meditation and listening to your health? Are you still doing it or you have shifted it in the evening and you are not really sure it will work, let me tel you do what ever you said you will do to maintain good health don't shift it. form a team of people who shared the same idea or the same mindset with you, it can be online or offline, let me share my testimony on health journey with you,
I am a person who like working with people so I always share my positive ideas with others, right now I am fighting with my weight, I want to lose weight so i do exercise regularly and I don't eat anything i see or eat late, I know the importance of healthy food and less cholesterol in my diet so i did not just implement it my family as selfish choice but I called my family members and explain to them why we should eat more of vegetables than carbohydrates, why I am doing exercise regularly and why they need to start their own health journey now, after this discussion, they now see the need to follow me, this is how I have build a team of health journey so you too can do the same but I want to tell you it is not easy, the team will like to see you doing what you want them to do and also see the results in you.
How much do you care for yourself?
We are good in servicing our cars, motorcycle, bycicle etc, we do all this regularly and on time because we want them to serve us well, now answer me, when last did you service yourself, mentally, physically and emotionally? If you are to ask 1,000 person's this question you will see that they is very few that are really taking care of their health, the same way you care for other things in your family, your health still come as number one and then watch your progress.
The word fear should be removed
knowledge is power
Do not allow gaining a lot of knowledge to make you think that you are not doing the right thing,listen to your body, check diet or exercise that is good for you and continue with it, change the way you measure your success, don't compare yourself with others because body mechanism differs and your results and that of another person can not be the same.
Conclusion
Health journey should be something we take seriously now and everytime because neglect on health had led to lost of millions of life before and now but we can prevent it if healthy lifestyle exist in our hearts.

Like one will say; you are caring to much for your health. Like trying to discourage you that you shouldn't show so much concern over your health.
