MY TOP 5 INVENTIONS OF ALL TIME BY @ijelady

INTRODUCTION
Greetings to everyone,
Trust you all are doing great,it is my pleasure to participate in this contest,i am grateful to @uzoma24 for Organising this amazing Contest and inviting me to participate in it.

A Contest like this helps us to make some research and at the same remind us of sacrifice that many people sacrificed in the past and how we are benefiting from it now, when we talk about invention we are taking about brain work,idea, creativity and determination.

• The first person in my list is Engineer Martin Cooper who invented Mobile Phone in 1973.

Mr Martin Cooper was born on December 25th 1928 in Chicago,He graduated from the llinois Technology,He is an American Engineer,his net worth is $600 million dollars.

• Life before mobile phone:

It was not easy for people that time to send message to their family members who are living ia another village, state or abroad, they have to wait until they see someone who is going to that place before they can send message across,as a result of this many people before they will hear that their mother is sick,she has died and buried because sometimes it takes months before the person will receive the message and start planning to come back.

• Benefit of mobile phone:

In few minutes you can call the person, send text messages, it is easy now than before.

• Second person is Lloyd M. Smith.

Lloyd M.Smith Invented DNA sequence in 1987,he is a professor of chemistry and founder of third wave Technology,he was born on October 3rd 1954 ,he was known for DNA sequences,the estimated net worth of Lloyd M.Smith is at least$3 million dollars as of June 12/2021.

• Life before invention of DNA

A woman can easily accuse a man for her unwanted pregnancy, the man will suffer the shame, humiliation and at same time care for her,but today the case is different.

• After the invention of DNA

For people who do not trust their mate, it is easy now to check the DNA of family members to know biological son or daughter,

• Third person is Karl Landsteiner who invented Blood Group in 1900.

Karl Landsteiner was born on 14/06/1868 and he died on 25/06/1944.In 1901 he explained that people have different types of blood group, this discovery led to blood transfusion between people with compatible blood group.

• The fourth person is Raymond Samuel Tomlinson who invented Email in 1971.

Raymond was widely known for inventing network Electronic,he was a pioneering American programmer who implemented the first email programme on the ARPANET system in 1971,he was born on April 24th 1941,he died on March 5 /2016.

• Life before email.

You can't receive messages from email secure Important information in your mail,
But today most businesses that we are doing today without email you can not do it, for example without active email it is impossible for one to sign up in Steemit, with email you can do many things now.

• The fifth person is MR Christopher Lathan Sholes who invented Typewriter in 1978.

Christopher Sholes was born 14th February 1819 ,he died on 17th February 1890,12 years after inventing typewriter.Christopher Sholes developed interest in typewriter when he was apprenticed as a printer for four years, after that when Mr Carlos Glidden, suggested to Sholes that he might rework his device into a letter printing machine, Sholes was attracted by the idea that he devoted the rest of his life to the project despite his health challenge.what a great sacrifice.

• life before typewriter.

They can only type one paper at a time, nothing like photocopy,but today you can type, photocopy, design etc.

• How the invention changed the way we do things.

All this invention and many more have changed the way we do things,we do not write letter again looking for who to give it or go to post office to send letters , because we have mobile phone to make calls, because of DNA sequence it is easy for us now to know who our biological parents are, before dating now many do go to hospital to check their blood group before wedding, with email you can receive messages and secure Important files, typewriter makes duplication easy.

I have benefited in all of this especially mobile phone and email, with phone i make calls, send messages, with my email i can join any business, receive tens of messages in an hour.

CONCLUSION
All this invetors are Entrepreneurs, they discovered a problem and provided solutions and today we are remembering them, their net worth lives after them, their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren will never forget their names.
The big question is will my children be happy that they have me as their mother now and when am gone,or will they sigh each time my name is mentioned (food for thought)
