Introduction
There are 3 types of mentorship and in this post i will show the 3 and how each one works and the one I used for this inactive newbie

| Traditional mentoring | This is where a mentor and a mentee is matched together, that is one on one mentorship |
| Distance mentoring | This is when the 2 parties are not in the same location |
| Group mentoring | This is when 1 person is mentoring a group of people |
This 3 types of mentorship is working very well, one on one mentorship, online mentorship and group mentorship serves the same purpose, the mentor is an experienced person who can help the other person to learn new things that he is teaching him then unlearn the old ones and relearn, this requires a great effort on the part of the mentor to be able to reach the heart of his mentee.
I used method number2 to mentor @prechy since 2 of us are not in the same location, she is living in Uran LGA as I am living in Uyo, all the effort i put in did not really work that is why I decided to use the traditional mentorship,
I had visited them 2 weeks ago but she was not around and I and her parents now made the arrangements for her to come to my steemit office to learn, that is why she came on 24/05/2022.

The Mentoring lasted for 4 good hours and my joy was that she made her first post in steemalive.

This her first post is the ongoing contest in the community, I explained the contest very well to her and she decided to write the contest and to come back to next day to write diarygame, when she was learning markdown, she did not really understand why she should apply it all the time in her post
I allowed her to make her post, after that she saw that it was not attractive, no subheading, no paragraph, it was after that, I told her to apply text-center on her post and text-justify, she now saw the beauty markdown added to her post and she admitted that it is best.
I explained to her the importance of notebook, I showed her my own how I wrote down some point I want to use in the contest and when I am reading or preparing for a post
This sheet note became visual aid to her and she was able to write .
In conclusion, mentors should study hard, make needed changes to help their mentee, they should also do what they are teaching.
Online and offline Mentorship is really working. I said that because I have received a lot of trainings on a group. Which is helping me today in my Steemit life. Thanks for sharing these 3 methods of mentorship.

The work of mentorship is not all that easy o. It requires earnest effort to inculcate in newbies the importance of markdowns. But from her experience, she have known it.

Some newbies actually finds it difficult to apply markdown, that was exactly what i thought vera during the week am still waiting to see her make her post. You did well ma.

There is one thing you can add and that is Voting CSI.
It is so sad when you see a good post and you cannot vote on it due to 0%CSI.

It is your voting on others post. That is the Voting CSI
It must be more than 5%. As for the self vote, rather stay away from it. Some curators don't allow for self vote at all and others allow no more than 5%
Why I was worried is that you said 0% because I know I have been voting on people post and I dropped the screenshot for you to see the last one, please if my post has quality you curate it why i work more to increase it to SCI5 thank you
