Bribery and corruption is a dishonest act or fraudulent act. Corruption is done mostly by people in authority or power. This can include killing or taking something that has value from someone to assist him or to help him out ftom something. When you give someone money to give you something that doesn't belong to you or do injustice to another person to favour you, it is bribery. When you receive money or gift from a person before you can give him justice, it is also bribery.

The one giving and the one receiving, all are practicing bribery. It is a dishonest act. In some companies, when you are found involved in bribery ir corruption, You will loose your job. If you practice bribery and corruption, you will also loose trust. The gain of bribery and corruption is short leave. It doesn't last for a long time.

There are so many reasons for increase on bribery and corruption today. Although is not something new, it started far back in the garden of Eden but is an outstanding effect now than before. Why? This is because we are living in the last days which God's word describe as critical days. If you read at 2 Thimoty chapter 3vrs 1-5, you will see 18 this that mark this critical time. One of it is that people live themselves than others. The attitude of me first in our time has led to countless of corruption and bribrey. Another reason is Lovers of money rather than lovers of GodBecause of money, people are paid to kill their husband, their president, their neighbors even their own children. What of not open to any agreement

It is no longer story today that many were killed after a successful business trip by their business partner. Many have been kidnapped because they failed to keep an agreement. Some people have signed a document but because of bribery, they denied their signature. What a terrible world where even a husband denied wife and children because of bribery. It is the increase of bribery that leads to serious corruption. Some have been removed from work because they refused to collect bribe. While many have been killed because they rejected bribe. In all bribery and corruption have never do us good right from the beginning. It is all about pain both the one giving and the one receiving.

In my state, people involve in bribrey and corruption every day and in so many ways. Let me share this story with you. One day, a Man came back in his house by 4pm and noticed that his house was open. Without fear, he entered his room thinking that his wife is back. He call his wife, no reply, his Son no reply. He entered his bedroom to know why the door is open but no one is answering him.

Immediately he put his head, he received a hot slap from a theif that is inside his room. As he tried to defend, he gave him the second one but the Man was strong to fight the thief back. They fought over 20 minutes according to the Man before his neighbor came in and helped him to seize the thief. But do you know what happened as he was handed over to authority? You will never believe it. This story i am telling you is a life story that happened in my street and it drew crowd that witnessed it. Many said God thank you, we will rest now. This boy have been terrorising the territory but behold he came back the following morning not up to 24 hours. The story has it this way.

On their way to station, big boss stopped them and tell them what to do. What a world.

Aside from this, even in the market, if you have a very strategic place where you stay and sell, another person will bribe your landlord to remove you so that he or she will wnter the shop. If he refuse bribe, corruption will come in until he or she gets tha6 place.

Yes of course. They are leaders, people look up to them as an example. They are role model to millions of people out there so their conduct matters a lot. Infact why many people especially young once is because some leaders are using them to accomplish their evil act. It is 100% wrong for those leaders to get involved in bribery and corruption. Imagine a young person watching an officer collect bribe from drivers, from those that came for justice and every other thing. It will affect that child nagatively.

I am yet to see institution set up by government to teach how bad bribery and corruption is. But from God and human stand point. An offender must be punished if he or she has been warned before. Sometimes one get into bribery because he was send by his Boss of which he will find it difficult to say no. In this case, it will be good if government will punish leaders who are the source of bribery and corruption in our society today.

I have explained how bad bribery and corruption is and the bad consequences of it. I have also said that, government should look int6 it in a serious way to advise officials not to be part of this act and also punish any offender.
