INTRODUCTION

My regards to everyone in this community, I'm glad to participate in this contest. As we all know, this is the most traveling season of the year. Every year people from all walks of life plan on how to travel to see family members, friends, relatives and do many other things in their agenda from one city, states and country to others. For one reason or another for the off going year. People at this time of the year can travel by air, land and by sea. Here and now I'm concerned on land travels which are made through cars, lorries, buses and luxurious buses as you can see as we go on in this post.

MOST EVENTS THAT OCCUR DURING THIS
SEASON ARE AS FOLLOWS:

*Many people tend to travel at this season.
*Festivities at any place you go.
*The motor parks are flooded with travelers with huge loads.
*Transportation fees increased at any rate drivers choose.
*Panicks as fuel pump price increases.
*Impromptu traveling/ shoppings.
*Weddings/ events.
*Joy and fulfilment that comes with the occasion of getting together at Christmas.
*Preparation for the unexpected at Christmas.

MANY TEND TO TRAVEL THIS SEASON

At this season of Christmas, there is tendency that people will be traveling from one place to another, from one country to another country.
It's a joyful season where there's joy in the air.

FESTIVITIES ANYWAY YOU GO

Festival season is it, December time. Many joyous occasions come to play at this season.
Many ladies and gentlemen get married. A lot of families come together thanking God for sparing their lives because this days risks and negative news abound. So many families take the season to rejoice and get together that's why many travel. Many marriage proposals are made. Many young people get married too.

MOTOR PARKS FLOODED WITH TRAVELERS WITH UNCOUNTABLE LOADS

This is the loading and over loading of AKWA IBOM MOTOR TRANSPORT SERVICES, a neighbouring state to my city Aba in Abia State.
Transportation fees at this park to the place are Bayelsa 2,200, Warri 3,000, Benin 3,500.

The price tag for travelers from my city Aba to those other places mentioned above.

These also are travelers going to these places buying their traveling tickets at the counter.

PANICKS AS FUEL PUMP PRICE RISES

As we suddenly noticed in my city Aba that fuel pump price has been increased by many filling stations. There is panick buying every where transportation fares increasing tremendously.
The pump price before now was #155.00 but now because of the festivities they're selling #250.00 per pump price then lay burden on travelers. People spend so much to get to their respective destinations.

IMPROMPTU TRAVELERS /SHOPPINGS

At this very season, some people may just follow their friends to travel together even without any initial plan for that. Maybe for weddings, burials, house worming, child dedication, birthday parties. Many other reasons abound why many people travel at this time of the year and yearly also. Many people may keep shopping both for things they need and things they don't need because there are lots of auction sales every where you go. Goods tend to be cheaper now than within the year.

PREPARATION FOR THE UNEXPECTED AT CHRISTMAS SEASON

It's very important that travelers who are bent on moving from one city, states, country, location to another should do this with causion. I mean watching what you eat where ever you find yourself. Don't just be eating anyhow because you have seen free food and drinks.
There are food you can't eat together. Moreover if you are cut with any illnesses don't forget your first aid kit or box with some preventive measures in case of any sudden attack. It's said, 'Let your food be your medicine, and your medicine your food' Eat right fruits and vegetables to stay balanced. Just take care of yourself.

WEDDINGS/ EVENTS AT CHRISTMAS

This is majorly the time for weddings and occasions. Many ladies and gentlemen get married mostly during this time of Christmas. New marriage proposals are also made because many people returned from many different places. It's also a gifting season. Like 26th December every year is gift giving days all around the world. People give gifts and expect gifts too. It's a good and joyous season. In churches and meetings people dance, rejoice, thanking God for their lives eat together and close for the year to open up against the on coming year.
