WHERE DID YOU BUY THE OLD & NEW TVS & HOW MUCH DID YOU BUY THEM

The old model TV was bought by my husband in Lagos state Nigeria, at Alaba international market, in year 2000. He bought it then #25,000 twenty five thousand naira only. The new TV, the flat screen TV is a Samsung TV, it's a flat screen attached on the wall. This is the new way TVs are placed, no more on the tables like the old TV. My husband again bought the new flat screen for the family in 2010 in October of that your, he bought it #120,000. One hundred and twenty thousand naira only. For the viewing of my family. And we have been enjoying the new flat screen Samsung TV till as I'm talking to you now

HOW LONG HAVE YOU USED THE OLD & NEW TVS

Of course the old national colour TV lasted for over 10years, ten full years. It served us beautifully well, every vision from it was heart pleasing. Our children enjoyed it most by watching the reigning cartoon for children then, the popular"Tom & Jerry, Nickelodeon"

The new Samsung flat screen TV has lasted more than the old item, the national colour TV, though it never had any fault rather we changed from table TV to flat wall screen because people were changing from old to new, we joined suit.
The old TV became bad when it stayed long nobody was ready to watch it again, till today it's still available in our parking store where I located it for this contest. Very funny.....

DESCRIBE THE QUALITY OR DURABILITY OF THE OLD & NEW ITEMS

The old TV, national colour TV was the talk of the day during those years. Whenever you buy that make you will be happy and be sure of the quality and durability. Even now the Samsung flat screen TV is one of the best, it has been serving and it's still available serving my family so both the old & new items are of high quality and has good durability.

BUTTERFLY STANDING STOVE & NEXUS GAS COOKER WITH OVEN

IMG_20220218_082506.jpg

These are another of my ancient and modern items. My butterfly two burners and center kerosene bottle in the middle of the two burners supplying the flow of kerosene to the two burners. This standing stove was a pride of honour to who ever had it in those days. My parents gave it to me on my wedding day, I never knew the price till now.

WHERE DID YOU BUY THE OLD STANDING BUTTERFLY TWO BURNER STOVE

This very stove is a bundle of honours to me, because this stove was one of the gifts my parents, my family gave to me on my wedding day many many years ago. There were so many other things given to me on that day but this stove, three legged cooking iron and a Bason are the three things remaining among the several others. Over 25 years ago I wedded. I love it and I'm still preserving it though I use it but not often because I have a gas cooker with oven.

This is my three legged cooking iron called "Egwu igwe in Igbo language"
You can see here that because of age, one of the leg has been broken, but it's still available and serving me whenever I want to use it to cook with fire wood, depending on what I want to cook.

THE NEXUS GAS COOKER WITH 3 BURNERS, OVEN & ELECTRIC BURNER & CYLINDER:
This gas cooker is a modern model, it has been serving me perfectly fine, it has no problems at all. NEXUS is it's name and the company too.
It has 3 burners, 1 electric burner and an oven for baking of Cakes, grilling of meat and chicken.
I have been using and enjoying it since 2018 may, 20th.

WHERE DID YOU BUY THE OLD & THE NEW

The butterfly two burners stove and the 3 legged cooking iron with wood were given to me on my wedding day, over 25 years ago I do not know their prizes. The Nexus cooking gas with 3 burners, 1 electric burner and an oven was bought by me at Next Supper Market at Mabuchi/ Banex Road, Abuja, Nigeria.

HOW MUCH DID YOU BUY THE OLD & THE NEW ITEMS

As I said before my stove was a wedding gift over 25 years now and it's still available and working well, while my gas cooker and the cylinder were bought by me on 20th May, 2018.
The gas cooker was bought #45,000. Forty five thousand naira only, in 2018 at the above mentioned, Next cash and carry supper market, Abuja.

LANTERN AND GAS LANTERN WITH CYLINDER AND GAS

IMG_20220218_075051.jpg

IMG_20220218_080036.jpg

Lantern as we know is useful in families mostly at night and in our villages where they're no electricity lights. At night you just on with a stick of match after you have added kerosene then lighten the whole house. This one here has been serving us for a long time without problems. It was bought in Ahia Ohuru market in Aba at the rate of #3,000, in 2009 during Christmas on one of our visit to the village. The village NEPA transformer had problems no light in the village, we bought it in urgency, used for some time. It's very durable and of a good quality.

After some days, we changed it to a gas lantern with gas and a cylinder, which was brighter, smoke free and long lasting than the lantern. This gas lantern is made in Germany. The name is SCHOTT SUPRAX.
It uses gas and a cylinder as it fixed here, just put on light with matches or with a lighter, the brightness is like that of electric. The price was 12,000 at Ariaria market, the cylinder 8,000, you fill the gas at the rate of 2,000. It will last and last so the problem of lack of light at night was solved and we enjoyed it for a long time. Till the transformer was repaired. And the NEPA light was restored.

All these items are very durable and are serving me and also lasting. I thank God for the provisions.
In conclusion, we will keep on steeming high, in steemit platform. Thank you everyone.
Those and more are the ones I could find.

I'm no more using it that's why I classified it as an old item. Right now I have a NEXUS GAS COOKER WITH 3 BURNERS, ELECTRIC BURNER AND OVEN, SO I DO NOT USE IT OFTEN. THANKS.

Nexus gas cooker is one of the best products in the market.

Thanks very much for your good comments.

I will keep saying this.. old things have really passed away oo😂

When it comes to kitchen items, the new versions makes kitchen duties faster and easier.
I know cooking with firewood can be very tiresome I have tried it before those times in the village. My eyes saw hell😂😂

Thank God for technology oo!!
