DEAR DIARY

To begin I could barely sleep all night because of the heat and mosquitoes 🤦 I forgot to spray insecticides the night before and there was no electricity 🙄 you can imagine how uncomfortable it made me.
Well I was able to catch a few hours of sleep thankfully but I was rudely awakened by a phone call from a friend whom I wanted to pick up something from early in the morning at the busstop quickly said my morning prayers as she was really close by, put on a t-shirt took a bike and went to the bustop.

I spent about 20mins to and fro and as soon as I got home I made preparations for breakfast after breakfast I took my bath and watched a movie to kill time as I had a traditional wedding ceremony to attend later in the afternoon.

AFTERNOON 🌞

1pm I began to prepare for the party 🤗 I love weddings and the thought of party Nigerian jellof rice was on my mind😋
I quickly did my makeup and as always diary I looked good 😊 the wedding was scheduled for 2pm and by 2pm I was not fully dressed chai women and their wahala as always but we cannot go until we are satisfied with how we look lol but you cannot blame us a girls gotta look good😜
Finally I was fully dressed by 2:15pm and ready to go but I have to take pictures first my dear diary I cannot look this good and not pepper my friends on social media small😂

After taking pictures to my satisfaction I stepped out looking fly 😊 my neighbors could not stop hailing me i was feeling myself diary, I completed my look with dark sunshades.
I took a wrong turn on the way to the venue and the bike man had to drive me around the streets of Afromedia in Lagos State before we were able to locate the venue. My Friends had already kept a seat for me so I just went in and sat with them thankfully the event had not kicked off we were enjoying the music from the DJ giving us highlife music 🎶 I saw these cute little girls dressed in traditional outfits to escort the bride as she is dancing out to greet her inlaws 😍they looked so good

I and my friends are friends with the brides sister so she quickly brought light refreshments for us first and then my party jellof rice arrived 😋😋 (I am a certified Foodie) we had wine took malt drinks and even had takeaway packages arranged for us courtesy brides sister.

I finally left the venue around past 5pmand I got home by 6:30pm. Then I made dinner of boiled plantains and vegetable sauce for my family I was too filled from party rice to even eat dinner at home.

I took my bath and after discussing with a client who wanted to do makeup the following day for Thanksgiving at church I slept off 😴😴 I was tired from the days activities.
Ok diary I am going to stop here I will have another session with you tomorrow 😘
