STEEM CONTEST: CREATIVE CAMPAIGN FOR #club5050 | BY @frankess7
INTRODUCTION
Hello distinguished Steemians! I trust you are all having a good time on this wonderful platform! Today on my blog, I will be sharing with you my efforts, procedures and methods I have come up with to promote #club5050 and the entire steemalive community through the above-mentioned contest. You’ll be glad even before you get to the end of the post.
GETTING PREPARED
When I saw the post carrying the information about the contest, the first thing I did was to look for the requirements and qualifications needed for me to participate tin the contest. I was elated when I found out I was qualified to participate and my joy knew no bound because firstly, I am a graphic designer who has great passion for art and creativity. Seeing the tasks to carry out in the contest made me really happy.
I wasted no time in getting the needed materials with which I am to create the artistic contented which has to be made by hands originally by us, the contestants as no form of digital work will be accepted. I sent for a;
- Cardboard Paper
- Coloured Markers
- Ruler
- Pencil and
- Pen
CREATING THE DESIGN
I actually wanted more materials like Crayons or Water colours, Colour pencils, etc but the above firstly listed were the few I could lay my hands in my present environment and so, I decided to work with them only.
I started creating the captions on the cardboard paper immediately with my preferred font and alignment pattern, so as to make the words very bold and visible to the audience all in a creative way. I did this sitting down on my room and bending over, facing the cardboard and enjoying creativity as I always do! It took up to an hour to finish creating the design with nice and creative borderlines on the edges of my work, all to make the design more appealing to the eyes.
GETTING A PERFECT SHOT
As soon I was done with design, I quickly asked a friend @erinosho to help take a perfect photo of me holding the designed cardboard paper as instructed by the contest rules. He gave me the perfect shot outside at the open space of the compound and I quickly thanked him as I moved on to the next step of the contest.
UPLOADING MY MESSAGE (DESIGN) TO MY WHATSAPP STATUS
In a bid to proceed further in the campaign for #club5050, I quickly posted my picture to whatsapp status on the whatsapp social media app as instructed while I mark the time, I uploaded the picture and stayed back for my contacts to see the message and start asking me about the captivating message I am sharing with them which reads “#club5050 THE REAL DEAL!”.
RESPONSES AND THE CAMPAIGN
Just at the moment the photo got uploaded to my whatsapp status, messages started trooping into my phone from my contacts with questions regarding the message I was trying to convey to them. I started telling them about the steemit platform, #club5050, the use and benefits.
A lot of them were amazed and started to ask me how they could join the platform, understand how it works and earn like me too. I gave them the needful information they wanted according to the best of my knowledge.
A total of 56 contacts viewed the picture I posted for the campaign on my whatsapp status. Below is the picture showing the evidence.

THE MAJOR CLUBS & THEIR MEANINGS
#club5050
As the name implies, the 5050 club is a category one needs to opt in if he or she wants to increase their earning rates from votes and curation rewards by powering up 50% liquid steem of the earnings on his wallet. By so doing, the earning percentage of the individual increases from every vote and reward.
#club7070
Just the club5050, an individual in this club powers up 70% liquid steem of his earnings in this case so as to increase earning percentage.
#club100
In this club category, one has to power up his or her entire earnings in liquid steem and in turns get a 100% increase in his or her further votes and curation rewards. It is the highest of the three clubs.
MY PLANS FOR THE CLUBS
I intend to go through and participate in all of the above listed clubs as i am already in #club5050 presently.
WHAT I HAVE DONE ALREADY
I have sensitized a remarkable audience about the street platform and the individual steemalive clubs as i have embarked on this campaign. I have fully understood the concept of the different classes and I'm hoping to teach interested steemians about how these clubs operates
CONCLUSION
I hope to have created an impactful awareness about this wonderful platform and #cub5050 in a way that will bring more people to the steemit community. Once again, thank you all for reading through!
