Introduction

Telephone is used for communication, it helps transmit human voice from one end to the other simultaneously. The efficiency and importance of telephone invention cannot be overemphasized and it is easy to use.

Brief History About it’s Invention

The telephone was invented by a scientist named Alexander Graham Bell with his assistant Thomas Watson in the year 1876. There are other scientists who are given credit to the invention of telephone but Alexander Graham was awarded patent by U.S.A March 10 1876 and because of this award he is known to be the father of this invention.
There is quite a story as to the telephone invention, initially the scientist Alexander Graham was trying to attach lots of letters(messages) on a single wire, with his assistant trying to activate a telegraph transmitter he heard a sound and this made him think he could not only transmit messages but also voice over the wire. We could say that the birth of the telephone came from the telegraph because this was initially used to send messages, first using Morse codes and later alphabets

What the telephone is made of

The telephone as we know it is made up of important parts that aids in it’s working capabilities. They include;

What was life before the invention of telephone

Before telephone invention, messages needed to be written and sent out, either through the post office or through a traveler, this method took days and sometimes weeks for the message to arrive to it’s recipient.
Later on there was the birth of telegraphs which aided communication via messages

Upgrades over the years

When the telephone was first invented in the year 1876, it had a separate receiver and mouthpiece end, that is to say a long wire connects them for the sound to be heard over a distance.
