A Show of Appreciation to our Principal Upon Retirement.

Hello everyone and greetings dear readers, today I would like to tell you the events of my day, that contains charity and gifting.

In my previous business review post, I made mention of corpers in my place of primary assignment (-PPA) planning a gift for our retiring principal and today we present the gift to him.

After all contributions made, the money wasn’t much so we where able to get a table top gas and a cylinder with the hose and plug.

How it went

I and the head of corpers (-H.O.C) went back to the Imaco plaza and purchased the items, then we contacted other corpers to meet at school for the presentation. When we got to the school premises, we waited a while for other corpers to get there, even after waiting we still weren’t much, but we proceeded to the principal’s office.

A short speech was made by the Head of Corpers on behalf of all the serving Corp members of the school presenting the gift.
The principal on seeing the items was happy and excited, saying he did not expect it. Then he stood up and said a prayer for us all and everyone that contributed in one way or another for the gifting. We took some pictures and made a video, which was forwarded to the corpers group chat so as to share the prayers with everyone.

It was a happy day and I felt really glad that we did what we did for our principal because he has been generous, a kind understanding man and father figure to us all. We would miss him and we wish him happiness and great luck in all his future endeavors.

The H.O.C expressed thanks to all the contributors and people present for the occasion.
