MY TOWN IN 10 PICTURES-EXPLORING MY LOCAL MARKET
INTRODUCTION
My town Aba in Abia state is made up of very industrious people so there are lots of markets that can be found. I'm going to be exploring one of the most popular markets in my town. The name is Ngwa Road Market or New Market(Ahia ohuru).
LOCATION 1
Bread Shop
This is the first bread Shop you are going to see once you get to Ngwa Road. You can get different brands, sizes and prizes of bread frim this shop. You can also get beverages like milk,Milo and the rest of them from the shop.
LOCATION 2
Emmy Global plaza
This is a newly completed plaza in Ngwa Road market. They sell boutiques,shoes,bags and other designer wears.
LOCATION 3
Highlife
This part of the market called highlife is where you can get your iced fish. A lot of fish mongers sell their fish there at different prices
LOCATION 4
Yam Shop
This is where I buy my yam. They sell good yams at affordable prices. Their location is Clifford road,one of the popular roads that cuts across the market.
LOCATION 5
Butcher's shop
If you want to buy meat in Ngwa Road, you'll have to go the the first gate of the market. There is a line of butchers there and they sell assorted meats too.
LOCATION 6
Line 35
Ngwa Road market has from line 1 to almost 40 with different shops. In line 35,you can get whatever household item you need because in each line,all the shops sell similar goods.

Line 33
This is the line where they sell all kinds of stockfish,dryfish,crayfish and other fishes too. As usually all the shops sell the same goods so you must get any type you want.
LOCATION 7
Edu Umunwa shop
This is a beauty shop,all your attachments and cosmetics for women are found here. They also sell wigs both foreign and local. The shop is in School road,another popular road that cuts across the market.

Shop for footwears
This shop is also in School road. All kinds of footwear both for kids and adults are found here. They sell all kinds,rubber,leather, foreign and local
LOCATION 10
Shop for bags
Another shop in School road. You can get different kinds of bags here for school,travel,occasions and parties.
CONCLUSION
This is just a scratch of my local market. There is a lot more to explore. But just in case you come around and you need any of these things,you know where you can find them.
