HOW TO PREPARE A LOCAL DELICIOUS MEAL
INTRODUCTION
Hello wonderful Steemians,welcome to my food preparation post. Today I'll be making a local delicious meal. Read along to see how I make my ukazi soup with egusi(melon seeds).
INGREDIENTS
- Stockfish 800NGN (6.3 steem)
- Crayfish 400NGN (3.13 steem)
- Ukazi leaves 300NGN(2.3 steem)
- Sungu(dried tilapia) 200NGN(1.6 steem)
- Seasoning cubes 20NGN(0.2 steem)
- Salt 50NGN(0.4 steem)
- Palm oil 200NGN(1.6 steem)
- Ground melon seeds(egusi)300NGN(2.3 steem)
- Fish 2500NGN(19.5 steem)
- Achara 200NGN(1.6 steem)
Total needed to prepare the soup=38.73 steem
I steem=128NGN
PROCEDURES
Step 1
Wash your stockfish with boiled water to remove dirt,then put in a pot and start cooking.
Step 2
When the stockfish has boiled very well,your palm oil and cover to boil. Add your ground crayfish and sungu to the mix and cover to boil
Step 3
Add your ground melon seeds(egusi) to the pot along with the seasoning cubes.
Step 4
Add salt to taste and your achara and cover to boil for 5 minutes so that the achara will cook well
Step 5
Now add your ukazi leaves and already cooked fish.Cover for a minute to cook the ukazi leaves and retain the freshness
Your delicious ukazi soup is ready to be served
