Introduction
Great and highly esteemed steemians, I trust our day actually went well, exactly as planned. It's that time again to review a local business. The part one of this review was interesting, the part two promises to be more interesting. One of the most important things to life includes food, we all need food to survive or to keep living. Please stay with me as we review a superstore that sells amongst other things foodstuffs.
The name is Mr Nicholas but generally called Nick. In this review we will also call him Nick. Nick is married with 3 kids. Though they make some money daily from the store, but still they are humble, I guess that is why many customers patronize them. Nick has been running this business, way back even before he got married. Now he is in his fifty's.
There superstore is located opposite LIVING WORD JUNCTION Aba-Owerri road Aba. Nick superstore deals on any drink both alcoholic and non alcoholic.
All types of biscuits, bread, detergents,soaps, tissue paper, plastics and so on. Most of the wares he sells are supplied by different companies, though there are few items he buys at Eziukwu market, every Tuesday afternoonClick here to see Eziukwu market what3words. In my discussion with him, he admitted that business is not moving as it use to, because prices have skyrocketed coupled with the global restrictions as a result of the pandemic. He gave me two examples.
- [1] DETERGENTS
Even though they are produced in Nigeria with active ingredients such as : Labs, sodium carbonate, perfume, antibacterial...etc, most of the ingredients are from Nigeria,but since the pandemic, the prices has gone up, from #300(1.5steem) to #800(4 steem)
- [2] COOKING OIL
He also said that the price of vegetable oil [KINGS PURE VEGETABLE OIL] have skyrocketed, it's produced locally with these active ingredients : Refined bleached deodorized palm olein and vitamin A. Gone from as low as #500(2steem) to as much as #1300 that's (6steem).

Prices of everything is going very high in the market, like detergent I use to buy it 3 ,#1,000 but today #1,500, the future is still brighter than yesterday, thank you @emjeak for being an active member of steemalive
My brother, this pandemic has been a cost of many problems in the world today. Two weeks ago when we were in PTA meeting, the proprietor of the school said.
So, it's Same thing everywhere. Mr Nick's store is really booming.
