MEANING OF CHILDHOOD DREAMS

These is when you think that you will be an Automobile Engineering, a Teacher, a Doctor when you grow up, but you turn out to be a pilot in future

MY CHILDHOOD DREAMS

When i was a child i was very obsess with cars even up till now, and since when i was a child i was good in drawing and and doing craft work, even when my dad bought his second car i made a model of it using a carton, my dad which was a fine art teacher in a secondary school took all my art works to his art studio to display.

So one day my dad called me and he ask me what i want to be when i grew up, i told him that i want to be an Automobile Engineering, that i want to be producing real cars when i grew up.

ARE YOU IN THAT CAREER NOW OR DID YOU CHANGE?

What happen?
I always dreamt of being an Automobile Engineering but my dad wasn't in support of it because he wanted me to be a Teacher(fine art teacher) like him.

The only person that was in support of what i wanted to be in future was my mom, she said that she will make sure that i archive my dreams no matter what, but one day she past away and my dream of being an Automobile Engineering past away with her, cause i knew my dad won't allow me to study that in school.

WHY DO PEOPLE CHANGE THEIR DREAMS

There are many things that makes people change their childhood dreams, these include;

• Dead of parents
• Financial problems

ROLE OF A PARENTS IN CHOOSING A CAREER

• As a parents you should help, but not choose or make decisions for your children

• You must make sure you support what ever decision your child makes, and advice them on how to go about it the right way.

• By giving them time and freedom for them to realize what exactly they are good at.

• By motivating them

• By always being positive and never critical, cause as a parent your words has more effect on your children

WOULD YOU ALLOW YOUR CHILD CHOOSE A DIFFERENT CAREER FROM YOURS?

The answer is yes, because as a parent i can't choose or force my children to be what they don't want to be in future, cause that decision is theirs to make.

CONCLUSION

A child's dream is like a coin, it has two sides. It may or may not come to reality, so in order not to be disappointed you should have some choices reserve, so that you switch incase your main dream collapses.
