It's another annual selection of the best author, best community contributor and best community in the steemit platform.
Before I make I pick, i would really want to elaborate more and also thank the full steemit team for this award.

ABOUT THE AWARD

It's very insightful for the steemit team to be very thoughtful in awarding the hard efforts of the best author, best community contributor and the best community. With this award, it'll motivate members of this platform to be more hardworking.

Below are my nominations and reasons for nominating them.

BEST AUTHOR @NGOENYI

If you're an active member in the steemit platform, then you'll know that @ngoenyi is a name to associate respect with in the platform.
She's a very influential figure who's active in almost all the communities I belong to in steemit.
Apart from being active, all her posts in this community are plagiarism free and also of great quality.

Despite the position she has elevated herself to in this platform, she's still finding out time to promote steemit and nurture newcomers which is a plus one for the steemit family.

Whenever I see her post, I see three things which are;

1. Hard work
2. Intelligence
3. Humility

I think she's the best author when it comes to steemit at large.

BEST COMMUNITY CONTRIBUTOR @FOCUSNOW

What's your definition of contribution, well, I don't really care about it as long as you put @focusnow to that definition.
When an individual is able to handle 7,367 subscribers and almost 300 active users without been partial and also be very creative to bring out new ideas to keep the community soaring higher, Participates in the activities of the community without getting worn out, then that individual is obviously not from this planet.
To me, I see @Focusnow as a very hard working idealist who doesn't burn down he's generator oil, and because of this, I believe he's suitable for this position.

BEST COMMUNITY @STEEMALIVE

Steemit is a platform that works with communities. Each community in steemit has an aim, sometimes an aim of two or more community can clash but it doesn't really matter to the steemit team.
Now, we all know that there are some aims that's very stressful when compared to other aims. Let me show an example of a very stressful aim👇.

Our mission is to onboard as many new users as we can. We recruit, retain and reward our members to support them well.

Steemit isn't an easy platform, one thing that always comes very hard for new members is the use of markdown style. But when you're a member of a community that looks out for their newbies and also manage other activities with ease, then you'll surely triumph in steemit.
For me, the best community for any one especially newbie is @steemalive.

CONCLUSION

I want to thank the entire steemit team for this award, it's really a source of motivation to members to keep working hard.
I've seen amazing authors, contributors and communities in this platform, but after my careful analysis and checking their consistency level, I've come to my conclusion and I've chosen the above names.
