Money is important in the life of every individual. It is true that some people think and say that money is the root of all evil. But the question is, IS IT TRUE?

Keep calm, read thoroughly and understand the reality. But before i proceed, i will like to define money and its importance, then we will also see what the scripture says on it.

What is money?

Money is a commodity accepted by general consent as a medium of exchange. It is the medium in which price and value are expressed.

It circulates from person to person and country to country, facilitates trading and it is the principal of wealth.

It is called currency.

Types of money

We have two main types of money namely;
*Commodity money and
*Fiat money.

Commodity money

This is the money whose value comes from a commodity of which it is made. Eg object having value or used in themselves as well as their value in buying goods.

Fiat/Flat money

Fiat money is all kind of money that are made legal tender by a government decree or fiat.

One can wonder, is Nigerian currency a fiat money? The answer is yes. Because it papper money. All paper money is fiat.

Again, the naira is the currency of Nigeria
The currency code of Nigeria is NGN
The currency symbol is #
Therefore it is a fiat money because is papper money.

Importance of money

Human beings need money to pay for all the things that makes your life possible. Things like ;
*Food
*Shelter
*Health care bills and also
*Good education.etc

Have you seen that money is important? It is true that money has its own side effect eg dept, but the importance is far much better because it is the only means to get at least the primary need of a man.

Now lets see what the scripture says about money. Lets see if it is the same as many view.

I proceed, 1timothy 6:10 the scripture reads "The love of money is a root of all injurious things, and by reaching out for this love, some have been laid astray from the faith and have stabbed themselves all over with many pains.

Did you notice something? The scripture said love of money. Have you seen that what the scripture says is not money as some may think, rather love of money that is the root of all evil.

The scripture said so because the love of money can make one go extra mile like doing money ritual or doing other sacrifices.

NOTE: Those sacrifices might require human blood which can include your loved one eg mother, wife, child etc.

Therefore, love of money leads to injurious things as the bible said.

Conclusion

Please dont think that money is the root of all evil as many thought because it is a necessity in our lives. What the scripture says is love of money. Indeed, the love of money has many disadvantages.
