I'm faith Justin with the username @dlioness, i am from amagu ihe(light) in awgu local government of Enugu state Nigeria,

From history, its been said that my community Ihe which means light is one of the brothers to four brothers and those brothers are my neighboring villages, Ihe(light) which is one of the brothers dominated my home town and it expanded to the level it is now,

I may not tell much about my village but the little i know is that they are peace loving people,known with a special kind of music which is the ogene music, it can be played by any other community but best preffered by my home town,their dancing steps is also been recognised when displayed, i have heard people detect my village in some occassions where i displayed my dancing steps ,

Our culture is not delicate as some communities tends to have, masqurades are been displayed during the burial of a titled man or a youth who is not committed in church, the masqurade is just for the fun of the ceremony and there are different masqurades which can be seen during such ceremony,

I dont know much about our dowry payment or marriage rites, i have not putten interest in knowing much about it in terms of the cost but i believe its considerable and the process easy ,after this post i will go ask my dad, i think this has given me food for thought,

Our known foods are Abacha,fiofio or agbugbu, okpa, ofe ede(ede soup), and many more, but abacha is most preffered by visitors and we basically use it in ceremonies with other foods,

There are festivals held in my village though i cannot be detailed on that but i know of onwa asa festival(seven moon) and new yam festival, i am sorry i cant tell more about this but i promise to make enquiries for more informations but that will be later at my own convinient.
