MY TOWN IN TEN PICTURES: Take a Look at My City - Uyo Capital City of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria (26/04/2022)

Hi everyone, today I will happily share my town in just 10 pictures with you in this community. I live in Uyo, Uyo is the capital city of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. It located in the southern part of Nigeria. Uyo is currently the most beautiful city in Southern Nigeria. It is the most cleanest city and one of the most peaceful place to live.
I can boast of many in different things about my Town. Starting from the good road network to the beautiful and attractive sight of my city. Let's get started, are you ready? Ok let's do this.

Location

Ibom Plaza is located in the heart of the City, it is so far the busiest place in Uyo excluding the likes of the Markets. Ibom plaza is a place known Nationwide as one of the most important business hub of the state. So much can be accessed and purchased here, such as, phones, books, clothes, glasses, shoes, papers, Images, toys, newspapers, laptops and so much more.

Location

The Godswill akpabio international stadium built by Gov. Godswill Akpabio, the stadium was constructed during his tenure as the governor of Akwa Ibom State. Construction Star from 2011 and ended on 2014, it has the capacity of 30,000 sits, also it is the best stadium I. Nigeria.
The stadium serves as home to the Akwa United Football Club one of the most consistent team in the Nigerian professional football league (NPFL). The stadium was nicknamed Nest Of Champions after the Akwa United fc.

Location

The GRA (Government Residential Area) is the third place I want to show to you. It is where the Governor's house is located. In the picture is the roundabout that leads to the Governor's House.

This water fountain is absolutely beautiful especially at night, you can see for yourself from the picture above. The water fountain during Christmas is decorated and the appearance of it is what makes people from all over the state to come for picture taking.

This is a popular eatery in the City, they are know to make delicious delicacies that attract customers just with a taste of their meal. The TANTALIZERS is truly what to write home about and I recommend it to anyone planning to visit Uyo Capital City.

The Anchor Insurance Company is a well known organization Nationwide, they have in different ways provide employment opportunities to our citizens. The above is located at Willington Bassey Highway.

Another thing about my Town is the good road network. The road is well connected. The above picture is the Four Lane, Edet Akpan Avenue this is good road to travel on. The road connects the Nwaniba and Iron road North and South respectively.

The 21 Storey complex building is an intelligent building that is located in the he Business site of the city. It was built by the present Governor, Gov. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel. The building is meant to attract investors into the state. It a well designed building that will definitely attract investors to occupy.

The green ravine is located behind the fountain. Down the ravine there is a stream where farmers fetch water for irrigation purpose. It is a wonderful attraction from nature. This ravine is a huge one it stretches across a long range of land. The ravine is the largest in the state.

The cross bridge was constructed for the sake of students who live across the four Lane way. The cross bridge help cross irrespective of the traffic. The cross bridge is raise above the ground making it possible for vehicles to pass under while pedestrians cross conveniently.
