CREATIVE WRITING: Darker Nights (Fiction)

This is a fiction story of two lovers, Josh and Kira. The story is based on total imagination, and not related to real life. The story is about how Kira and Josh went into the jungle in search of a dog and ended up in another country. Josh narrates his story.

I bend under the logs to find my way out from. The jungle; nobody was around but the trees and birds 🐦, the creeping things of the jungle and the heavy wings of the hawk searching for creepers.

The sky changed for the third time since noon, yeah noon, we came to the jungle searching for Bleezy the little dog that belongs to Me. Cletus of Heung. The dog was chasing after a squirrel which it did not catch, not when it got itself into the gigantic jungle that shared border with a nearby town; Diasensburg.

The jungle was no place to mingle around. The big tremendous jungle of Heung was a terrible dark jungle where no child was allowed to go close to.
Bleezy was very social and the people loved Bleezy. Mr. Cletus being a mean old man had warned that no one should go close to his little Bleezy, claiming that the dog has all the qualities of his only child who trained the dog, but unfortunately he passed away when he was sixteen.

I have never believed the myth that when the sky changes three time it signified something, but the big question to this belief remains; what really goes wrong when the sky changes three times?
The story has been passed down from generation to generation, all the myths and tales of Heung remain questionable since the answer to these happenings is still not revealed till present time.

Glaring at the sky, I began to worry if my fate has been decided by the gods. Why did I not join the force out from the jungle as we came in bunch into the jungle? "I worried".

The first look the sky cast was a rainy face. Later, a sunny one and now it is as if the something was really going on. The pale yellow sky that had it color from the disappearing sun was now a wonderful sight from the horizon. This got my attention and I began to slow down, wondering from the top of a hill if this jungle has an end.
The sun slowly went down till it got lost into the ground. Now it is dark and I am not certain if I will make it home, I have to prepare for the night instead of letting it catch me unprepared.
I decided to pick firewoods from the dry tries around, all thanks to the gods, the rain hasn't fallen for days making the jungle dried and the woods were all ready for fire.

This is not the first I am sleeping in a jungle, the last time was when I went snail fetching with my friend, while that happened in Lotsford this one unlike the earlier this is going to be lonely.

Afterwards, the thoughts of the myths of Heung got lost in my mind and I began considering the night to be enjoyable, I was with my bag which constituted of my palm wine and my blanket. With my bottle of seaman's schnapps. Oh yes, there was nothing to fear, for if dead seek to find me it shall be under my unconsciousness and therefore, it shall not be painful. After savoring the whole bottle of the drink. I being an experienced drunkard took my time to lay my eyes closed and off I went into the night of the Jungle.

The story is just getting started, wait for chapter 2 when other characters come in and there you enjoy the story to the fullest. While waiting note that the story is about two lovers (Josh and Kira).
