Greetings friends, hope we are all doing great, first I wish to appreciate the steemit blog eco system for really giving us some assistance in the system so far.

I wish to bring to us the recent development in my city Umuahia, although this is coming now as @kadosh a co-citycoordinator in the city is actually sick as he told me, else this could have come before this time.

Over the week, we've been able to recruit some members into the steemitblog system as we have the most current person to be @desmon22.

Nevertheless we are actually set to give Steem a brand new shape in our city by convincing, recruiting and retaining Steemians through giving out steemit wears, setting of city contest and also giving our members some encouraging votes after building our city account to optimally function although in this case, we really need assistance from the steemit eco system by giving us votes on city curation account @citycuratorumu.

SOME RECENT DEVELOPMENT IN OUR CITY

We have kicked off our community Steem contribution which started 2weeks and 3days from now, and everyone in the city is actually doing their best. Moreso I have gone through the account of most of my city members and my observation has been that most of them have not earned much as to give out.

Actually we powered up our city curation account (@citycuratorumu) today being the 14th day in the month of June 2021 with a total Steem of 150. Here is the link to the post.

Secondly we have also kicked off our city contest, although we are just starting at the moment with a total liquid steem of 25 although this will be captured more in the city update by 20th.

We are also set for our offline meetings but for the sake of the state of pandemonium in the state where unknown federal government delegated armed men do kill people specifically Youth from our region, so we're actually looking for appropriate venue for our meetings as we take precautionary measures.

On the other hand, we are still using the whatsapp medium for our meeting and communications.

Nevertheless, we are still looking up to our mandate of:

• funding of our city account to at least 10,000SP before the year ends;

• Having a constant city contest in contingent to building city members Steem power.

• Assisting newly signed up members to grow in the system by means of exposition to the requirements in the steemit social blockchain.

• Hostin offline meeting once or twice every month as to encourage our members

• Assisting city members in getting their wears specifically for promoting Steem in the city.

Finally, here is the number of persons that has joined us so far although we are using Google sheet for easy edit and update.

Thanks to the steemitblog system for your assistance so far on our city members, I still wish to appreciate my boss @focusnow for his great foresight in the development of our community so far, I'm grateful to everyone of us for also making out time to go through the latest happening in my city and I still wish to commend my city members for also giving their best in the system.
