My diary game(My ghetto) by @christina55 on the 11/11/2021

Nobody likes to stay under the sun, there is even an Igbo proverb that says "adighi agwa nwa m'ihe, ya puo nawu" the translation means you don't tell a wise child to leave the sun. A stress free day to y'all my fellow steemians, it's pretty hot outside as i began to write this story.
Let me be your eyes, so you can see things just the way I do, I'll picture out to you how my "ghetto" looks like, I hope you follow this to the end.

GHETTO DRAMA

Let's start with the most common type of houses in the ghetto, you'll hardly find a self contained building in the ghetto, it's mostly bungalows with equal room sizes facing each other, we call those the "face to face", a single or double public bathroom and toilet, some are better than the others by the way. Depending on the construction.
Lol, my ghetto is a funny and dramatic place to be in, waking up to neighbors yelling, cussing and screaming at the top of their voices to each other is something I am already used to. I bet it's not just me, a lot of people are already accustomed to it too.
People wake up very early in the morning to have their baths just to avoid the cue to the bathrooms or toilets, just like you avoid the Lagos traffic, lol. Sometimes you wake up to loud music from a very noisy neighbors, I'll say my family and I fall into this category😂. We all love to keep the place lively and happening, plus we are all goofy in my family.

YOU GATZ BE READY TO RUN IN THE GHETTO

On several occasions, you see people running for their lives. Why? It's called the "cult clash" in most cases(two different cult groups having misunderstandings). It sometimes leads to the death of these gang members dying, some innocent people might also end up losing their lives for probably coming across them during this fights, so in the ghetto, one of the first things you learn is to always remain alert.
It's normal to encounter armed robbers, petty thieves and even pick-pockets in this streets, the troubles are real. Insecurities, murder cases, rape, rituals, human trafficking, child abuse and as many atrocities as you can mention mostly happen on this streets. Our theme in the ghetto is SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST.

IN CONCLUSION

The ghetto has good people in it still, people who leave their homes early to grind for a better tomorrow, it's very hard as it seems most times, but we all have the same motivation, we don't want our children and future on this hungry streets. No matter how bad my ghetto looks from your point of view, this is mine.... This streets chose us!
