Newborn babies are regarded to as eggs because they should be taken care of with maximum attention. Eggs likewise.
Babies are so soft and tender, but when they grow, they are powerful. Eggs too especially bird eggs break easily but are stronger when boiled. Eggs get stronger when they pass through fire. The fire here represents the trials while the egg represents a real man or woman. Potatoes on the other hand although they are very strong and arid, ones passes through the fire (trial) becomes so soft.
We are not potatoes that get weak and fearful of our trials, or are we? Rather we are egg-like and are made stronger after each trial we face. Thus, becoming the real man and woman.
