I commend the poster for being very honest and thoughtful in his post. His sister though already married took the place of their mother providing for the family and yet looking after their sick mother at the same time. That is good of her. It shows she understood the expectation of the family. Untrained firstborns be they boys or girls cannot do this. Fathers share their love among his children equally. A well raised child should understand that as someone who will step into the role of family head he or she should love everyone in the family equally. It's not the sex of the child that matters but training and love and understanding. May God help us.
