Hi friends,am back with my 5th post on this writing challenge. Today, I will be talking about 2 twin brothers that went to the bush in search of a flower. It's a torching story with moral lessons. It's not gonna be bored because, I will tell you what made them to go to search for the flower and the outcome.

There is these 2 twin brothers who's father is a King. Their names are Ude at Uda. They came from a wealthy home from Umuaku kingdom. There father being the king of the land, knows what their tradition is all about while choosing someone who will be the hair apparent to the throne. So he called his two sons and said to them.

My son's, am getting older, and I need to 👑 crown one of you King, now that am still alive. But as the custom demands, I need to crown someone who will maintain the peace and unity of this kingdom. So, my son's, two of you, will go to the bush to search for a flower. It might take you days before you will get it. You should take with you, water and food. Anyone who finds flower first, is the the choosing one, and he will be crowns the King of Umuaku kingdom. So that, I may rest in peace with my ancestors.

After that, the sample of flower was given to them. They left with food and water just as their father has instructed them. They kept searching for the flower for good 2 days without seeing it. On the 3rd day, the younger one among them finds the flower. With Joy in his heart, he called on his brother so that they can go home together. When his brother comes, he told him this.

Though I was the first person to see the flower, but I will like both of us to claim that we saw it together when we get home.

His brother agreed, but his heart was evil. On their way home, he hit his brother with a heavy stone, and he died. He now took the flower from him and ran home. On getting to his home, both their father and the villagers was happy to see him. But his father asked,

Where is your younger brother?

He deceived his father by telling him that he is on his way back. The next day, he was crowns as the Eze Anochie A King after his father. But his father persistently asking him about his brother. To put a quit to that, he poisoned his father and he died too. He now became the King of the land.

During his reign as King, no peace in the land. So, the chiefs decided to know why things are not moving as it was supposed to. It was discovered that he killed his twin brother and his father. At last, he was put to death by hanging. Chaii, the whole family is gone due to greediness.

We should avoid any form of greediness, envy and jealousy because, it can close down family. It can make us to loose a friend's and even our own lives. Always rejoice with others when something good happens to them. When we do that God will bless us in his own due time.

I will tell you another interesting story next time. Please friends, let's say no to greediness. It's one of the works of the flesh, not from God.
