You know ugboru is a seasonal vegetable, usually seen in surplus during the farming season, moreover I have it in my farm and it's handy for a quickie soup.
For the benefits ; it is said to be an anti-aging agent, helps to fight against cancer, increases fertility, lower cholesterol, combats diabetes etc.
Ugboru leaf is rich in vitamins and minerals namely; Potassium, Calcium, Folic acid, Iron, Vitamin E, B6, A & C, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Thiamine, Niacin, Dietary fibers, Riboflavin, Copper, Manganese, and Proteins.
