Introduction
Today I want to talk about the invention of sewing machine. You will believe with me that sewing machine have contributed a lot in today's modern world. We have many machines for designing and sewing of clothes. Let's see the history and the inventor of sewing machine.
The history/inventor of sewing machine
Elias Howe Jr. Invented the first sewing machine in the year 1846. He is a professional when it comes for creation of modern lockstitch sewing machine. He is an American investor who was born in July 9, 1819 in Spencer Massachusetts
United States and die on October 3, 1867 in Brooklyn New York America. He is a husband and a father of 3 Children.
What existed before the invention of sewing machine
About 20,000 years ago, poeple where sewing with hand's. And they got their first needle from bones or horns of animals and the thread was extracted from animal sinew. So, the sewing where done in poeples homes.
How the invention of sewing machine improve life
The stress of sewing with hand's is over. It has increased the mass production of clothes making it possible for price of clothes to go down. At least, many families can afford to buy clothes. Apart from that, sewing machine makes life easier in the sense that it makes sewing fast and easy. It cut down the long time sewing with hand's and needles. Sewing machine helps to build the clothes industry and at the same time, improve poeples life by giving them the privilege to own more clothes.
Modifications and upgrades since sewing machine was invented.
Just like one switching on the wall light instead of listening candels , sewing machine have upgraded from manually moving the needles up and down to electric sewing machine. When the electric pedal is fixed in the machine, all you need to do is to use your foot to press the pedal and the electric will run through machine and lift the needles up and down for us. You can call it machine Moto because it helps you to drive the machine smoothly without stressing yourself. All you need to do is to control it just like a driver controls the steering.
Negetive effects of sewing machine
The side effects is not harmful anyway. Just that due to the fact that sewing machine makes sewing easier, it has resulted to access of clothes production. Leading to low cost or prices fell. Apart from that, one can mistakenly sew a clothe different from what the customer demanded. No other options than to buy new clothes for the person.
Meaning of sewing machine
Just like the name implies, it is a machine used to see fabrics and materials together with the help of thread and needles.
Conclusion
Having seen all these things, what do you say to the inventor of sewing machine? Though he is late, but I appreciate his efforts. In my next post, I will discussing other machines and their works.

So I'm learning today that my Dad bears the same name with the inventor of sewing machine(Elias). With the kind of styles I'm seeing today,I don't know what we would have done if not sewing machines. Thanks for this educative post

Machines and sewing are interwoven, I wonder how life would have looked like if there were no sewing machines and tailors and seamstresses.
