LAGOS STEEMIT MEETING WAS A SUCCESS. I MEET UP WITH MY FELLOW STEEMAINS||@boobee
Hello everyone, hope you all are having a productive day? I wasn't able to share with you guys about how my Sunday went cos it was full of activities and fun with my fellow steemains.
I woke up early yesterday by 7am to prepare for church service. I got to church by 9am that was when the second service was about to start.
In my church we observe covid19 protocol and you have to book and register your seat before you enter the church building.
From the entrance of the gate you have to wear your face mask, when you get to the registration spot, you have first sanitize your hand and then do a temperature check. After the temperature check you can stand on the cue for your registration.

Every body in Church was on there face masks and sitting away from each other.
After the church service, I had to a chat with my new found friend in church by name Charity we had a some discussion and before the discussion ended I told her about Steemit and invited her for our lagos meeting and thank God she accepted to come.
So we took some cute pictures for memories.
After I left the church around 12:15pm I went to the market to get some things to cook before the time of our steemains meeting.
When i got home from the market I prepared down every thing for the cooking told my sister to help me cook the food because I was running late for the meeting. I took my bath and left the house to the nearest bus stop there I waited for my friend to come out so we can go together.
After some minutes of waiting she came and we boreded a bus going to Yaba phase 1.
It took us 45mins to get to the Yaba phase 1 because it's a commercial bus, they drop and pick people on the road. When we came down we entered a small taxi that is heading to our location which is Lagos University where the meeting was been held.
We got to the venue a little bit late because of the delays in getting passengers and little traffic on the road.
This is the front view and entrance of Lagos State University . I also heard they have a back entrance.
Lagos State University is a federal University that is located at ojo campus Lagos. It's short pronacaition is LASU.
When we got there, the meeting has commences I had to apologise for coming late then I and my friend joined the meeting.
We started the meeting by praying and then introducing ourselves to each other.
Then @talktofaith took over by asking if anybody has a question or confused about something so that she can address them.
Fortunately there was questions that was asked and also clearly answered by @talktofaith.
After the questions and answers @talktofaith addressed the issues of in consistency and lack of commitment. She told everybody to buckle up. She also explained what the curation trail is all about and it's benefit and we all should join.
She also encouraged the Lagos newbies to keep engaging in Steemit and if any confusion they should contact her.
We had some refreshment and the meeting ended by 6:30pm.

It was time for me to snap structure that got my eyes. I started with the lagoon front.
This is the front of the lagoon. People take pictures here because of how beautiful the view looks and water springs up from the ground which adds to the beauty.
This large building is there auditorium. It used whenever there is any special occasion that requires large number of people. My phone couldn't get the entire structure because it's really large.
This is the there Senate building and it's the longest building in the school premesise.
This art represent there library. The Library where student go and research, read and also do most of their assignment.
I wish I could snap more pictures but then it was getting dark I had to go home. But before I left i engaged a talk with someone that seems interested to know what Steemit was all about. We talk for a while and i exchangedbnumbers with him so we can talk better on WhatsApp cos it was really getting late.
When I got home around 8: 35pm there was light I had to plug my phone, went and took my bath, eat my food then chatted him up just to confirm if that was his WhatsApp.

I was so tired that I had to sleep off and also allow my phone to charge well.
I was so happy to meet my fellow lagos steemitains.
