DIARY GAME: MY LOW BUDGET OKRO SOUP (DRAW SOUP)

Today i decided to cook my favourite soup: draw soup ( okro soup. This has been my favourite soup feom my childhood, till date. But unfortunately for me, i got sylva, a house help that doesn't like the soup at all.
But one thing baffles me about sylva. U want to know? Read closely.

Whenever i buy this vegetable for soup and i happen to give it to sylva to slice, this girl will eat half of the quantity raw. If i try to ask her why, she will start telling u the benefits of okro. That it stops cough, relieves sore throat and leads to a good singing voice if comsumed regularly, at the end of her lecture, she would encourage me to be buying it everyday for her for raw consumption and even persuade me and my kids to taste eat okro!! Shit!!!!

This world is full of irony, i that has the soup as favourite can not even taste it uncooked, but she that doesnt like it in soup can finish a basket full of raw okro within a blink of an eye if given a chance.

So today, i just cooked a course of this vegetable soup on a low budget. My ingredients include small okro, pumpkin leaf, small smooked fish, maggi, palm oil, onion, crayfish , etc
I started with washing the smoked fish with hot water, and set it on fire, when done i added my blended crayfish and onion, add a little quantity of palm oil. I allowed them to boil and blended together in the pot. Then i added my okro and the chopped pumpkin leave. Within 30 minutes, the soup was ready. U may ask, did sylva manage to eat the soup? Hmmmm!
