A visit to my farm

Hi friends, greetings to you all. Hope ur day was good. Mine was a bit stressful. Mondays has always been a holiday /sit at home. Those of us in aba will understand better. It was not a holiday for me rather stressful, let me tell u why. For the past few months, i have never bought garri (processed casava tubers) in the market because i have 12plots of cassava farm i cultivated last year.
so i have been harvesting and enjoying the fruit of my hard work. So today i planned to go for harvest.
As a nursing mum, i can't carry out the task alone, so i invited few friends of mine including @herculeand to accompany me. But before we headed for for farm, @herculeand pleaded that we stop by for him to see how his pepper was doing so he harvested few ripe peppers
we also paid brief visit to our poultry farm to see how our laying birds were doing.

They have laid eggs for a year now on dip liter, very soon, we will start selling them as old layers or spent birds. Now the three of us started heading to the cassava farm. We were dismayed by what we saw in the farm. Thieves had already finished the harvest and did semi‐replanting for us. One will apply force to harvest a tuber only to find himself on the ground with a tuberless stem, infact we were falling like the walls of jericho, until we realized that thieves has messed up everthing. Tired and downhearted, we started heading home for the weather was not clement to stay longer.

Upon arriving at home, i fed my little boy, rested for few minutes. I started losing my daughters hair braid for another style. I washed the hair and took her to her hair dresser for a new hairmaking in preparation for school tomorrow. While the hairbraiding was ongoing, i came back home to prepare for dinner which was eba and bitterleaf soup. Before long, the soup was ready. I went and brought my daughter back from the salon, bathed her and her sibblings and around 6pm, dinner is served. Everybody rushed to the sitting room to watch some movies. At 8pm, i sent my kids to their room to sleep so as to wake up early for school . Thats how the day went. Thanks for your patience in reading through.
