My Diary for 03 May, 2021. A Busy Day- Assisting @ngoenyi in Getting the Steemit Office Space Ready by @benton3

Hello my fellow steemians, what a great and wonderful day it is. Hope we are all hale and hearty. I am writing to intimate you all of activities being caried out on the 3rd of May 2021.

My day started when i woke up from the bed by 5:30am. I immediately said thanks to the Almighty for the gift of life. There after, I waited fot the choldren to wake up. Today in my country, there is a national holiday, thus no school or formal activities going on. That is why the children were allowed to sleep beyond the time they normally wake up.

By 6:30am, all in my house were up and we did our family worship together. After saying our prayers together, we immediately went to check on our farmland, it has been about a week, we went to that place, that is why we decided to do a quick one. On getting there, we observed that most of the maize seedlings and cassave stems have germinated and started growing, however we noticed that weeds are coming up, so we decided that we will use the next holiday which is probably taking place this week to go and clear the weeds. I will keep you updated on that.

Consequently, we went back home took our breakfast. The breakfast is that of boiled rice with egg and vegetable sauce.

We did really enjoy the breakfast since we were very hungry as we got back home.

The moment we were done with the breakfast, I and @ngoenyi my wife decided to go and check out on some things we need to buy to put in order the steemit office we rented for steemit promotion.

We want to kick start that office by nextweek all things being equal, using it as a place to recruit more steemians within our environs and beyond and to have a physical presence, to let people know about the reality of steemit and what it is all about.

We want to use it to improve peoples lives and change the sad stories of so many within the area where we live. It is already doing that and the goodnews is spreading. Thus this office is seriously a must have.

Later we proceeded to buy cement which would also be used for the tiling.

While we paid a cab man to carry the tiles to the shop with @ngoenyi to show him the place, I now went with the tiler, to buy sharp sand which would also be used for the work.

We got what we wanted and now headed back to the office space to drop the sand there. Agreed the amount for the labour with the person that is going to do the work. Tiling Work on the office space will start in earnest tomorrow, while we still get other things ready for that place.

After we ran around for all these things, we came home tired but fulfilled that we were able to get all the items needed for the work tomorrow.

Hopefully like I said, before the end of nextweek, we intend to open up the office and start making use of it.

I later took my dinner and went straight to bed after spending quite sometime with the children.

That was how interesting my day was.
