Our World is sick - 5 things wrong in our society today. 10% to @steemalive
There are different ways to highlight how sick our world is at the moment and for this contest, we were asked to highlight 5 of them which I do sequentially.
BRIBE
Bribery has been invoked for a long period now, I can recall vividly that the incumbent President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria was to fight corruption which he had tried but still yet, the rate of bribe is massive. Next year is the election and before then, we could stand a chance to see all the aspirant faces as they seek power. Some will go to the extent of bribery to get what they want and once they emerge as winners, people at the grassroots level become worthless the forgetting that without the masses, they will not get to the top but they will tell you that is how politics is run in the country.
Drug Abuse
Drug Abuse in this perspective because drug abuse simply means taking drugs without the doctor's prescription. People have misused drugs and some of them have become addicted to them. The use of Tramadol by guys has been abused as guys use it to satisfy their sexual needs. Thank God for the measure used to control that drug because the sight effect is deadly. The rate of consumption of Tabacco by the masses is alarming because the inscription on it is that people are liable to die young and still yet, some people can not do without it.
Addicted To Technology
Technology was made to make things easier for us but people have made a habit to misuse it and deprive people of their hard earnings. People nowadays don't want stress or anything that will keep them engaged but depends solely on technology and to some extend has people lazy to the core. Our world can only get better if only we manage our resources and use our heads to think instead of deepening on technology for all.
Difficult To Getting Justice
The world is very sick at the moment especially in the aspect of getting justice. A rich man will steal and he will be hail but a poor man will also steal but he would be killed. Vision 2020 was what they promised us that the gap between the poor and the rich will be bridged but till now, the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. Justice can't prevail when the judiciary only talks with pocket and not with justice. The world is a global village, with your money, you can shop as you like and still collect change unlike the poor that are being arrested for standing up for their right.
Bad Parenting
Bad parenting has caused a lot of calamity in homes as parents display madness in front of their children. These have left some scars on their children as they display some of these attributes once they are in their matrimonial homes. Some of the parents have led their children astray putting hatred into their minds especially in the extended family setting which is wrong.
Our world is sick for sure and without control, this country will be jeopardized as even the firm, people nowadays deal with Godfather to lead them and those without connections lose out even they have the potentials and necessary skills to fit in. The academic sector is the worst, students are careless to read as their money does the paper for them. God has mercy on us and leads us not into temptation.
