I greet you all, am here again and I consider it a pleasure.

In today's world or around your area, you might be wondering why some business do not progress or might not last for a long period of time.

Some people also have this idea that some progressive business today are based on some diabolical powers which might not be true in some cases.

Lets discuss some practical ways we can keep our business growing.

How to grow our business

1) Sell with little profit.

Have you ever heard someone say

"ahh I can't buy from that shop because things are too expensive there"

This is a factor that brings down some business because the owner wants lots of profits and this makes it very difficult to sell the goods in the shop, and before you know it some goods expires and that amount to loss of capital.

While in some shops they add little profit and sell off their goods and keeps restocking the shop.

2) Limit your expenses

If you want your business to grow make sure you limit your expenses, and calculate your profit before you spend money.

When you start spending extravagantly, hopefully the business will not grow but fall.

3) Hire hardworking people.

When you hire people who devote themselves to your business and are hardworking, they will look out for the growth of the business not for their selfish reasonings.

4) keep your customers choice at heart.

People often bring there friends to any shop or business if only they are being treated well, so instead of looking for new customers try as possible as you can to retain the ones you have.

5) Think about the future.

Always have a second plan in your business, this will help you to withstand any storm that comes to the business.

6) Invest more .

To help the business grow, always be adaptable, invest in new products and see how it goes.

7) Customers feedback.

Make sure you get feedbacks from your customers, this will alert you on goods you really need and goods that might tie down your capital.

8) Promotion and discount

There is a popular saying in Nigeria "awoof no dey pain belly"

When you see big shops like Spar, Shoprite's and other big companies promote their goods by doing things like black Friday, they know what they are doing, because promotion and discount attracts people and once they get quality products even after the promotion they will continue to come around.

9) Advert

Try to do some advert, online or physical advert will also draw peoples attention to your business.

Conclusion

The above mentioned are wonderful tips to grow and maintain your business, try them out and you won't regret it.

What a powerful post by @beautybb. All the nine points you have mentioned in this post are worthwhile. They are what I call the secret of a successful business. Because it is one thing to grow a business, it is another thing to retain and sustain the grown business to continue booming. So imbibing these laid down principles will be of a greater help. Many business men and women do spend unnecessarily with less concern of how much they made as profit. This is beneficial for them. Thanks @beautybb

It very good for you to invest more in your business oo.. because on daily basis deferent new things are coming out to the making and you discovered that with time, most of the old product will be fading little by little....
