A summary about my community || by basky14
Hello Steemians
Greetings guys hope you all are doing just fine? Thanks to @pricelesspresh and @steemalive for organizing this wonderful contest. Am so delightful to be part of it.
The name of my community is Emekuku. Emekuku, is correctly pronounced "Emeke Ukwu" is a town in Owerri North Local Government of Imo state in South-Eastern Nigeria. My community shares common boundaries with the autonomous communities of Emii, Awaka, Ihitta Ogada, and Enyiogugu Mbaise.
History About Emekuku
OMEE-KU-UKWU is the correct Igbo name for my community, but it was changed to Emekuku by the Colonial Masters. Emekuku is located near the city of Owerri. The first Roman Catholic Church in the South East was build in my community. It is said to be the oldest Catholic Church in Igbo race.
Emekuku has 10 sons which are the villages that makes up the town, which are Ezeogba, Ezedibia, Okwu Emeke, Akalovo, Umuakuru, Azaraowala, Azaraegbelu, Ubowala, Uboegbelu, and Umuocham. We celebrate our festival every november, it is called the Uguzo festival. The festival is all about clearing of paths that leads to community's streams, villages. It is always a season of merriment and a period to share love. Villagers will come out in mars with their cutlass for clearing. A day will be map out for a general celebration at Nkwo-Emeke.
The most populated religion in your community.
Christianity has been the populated religion in my community ever since the missionaries came to our land. Although the traditional religion is still existing but not as strong as before. Catholic Church has been the most populated Church in my community.
General dialect of my community
We share the same tonal dialect and similar cultures with The people of Owerri.
Why I love my community
Most reason why i love my community is that we are very accommodative, peaceful and Educative. We do things in one mind and we like to groove😂😂.
This is all for now hope you enjoying reading it. @pricelesspresh this is my entry.

Great piece @pricelesspresh, you did great at the beginning of your writeup. You caption is equally good. Your writing style need to be commended. You have great potential as a writer.
Meanwhile, watch paragraphing. For instance, check your entry.
