These below are my suggested periods for you to switch off your smartphone device if you're convinced that allowing your phone to rest a while will prolong it's life and as well, give it better performance.

  You participate in walkout mostly in the morning or sometimes evening as the case may be. While taking a walk that early, you should consider turning your phone therefore giving it rest .
  I know your question now; What if someone called me? Well, someone may, but it still worth it as it may not even take much of your time. Also, It's even better this period because it's early meaning, you won't miss much calls compare to noon, the most busy period of the day.

• *When taking a shower:
  This also is a very convenient time to consider turning your phone off. In this period, you will not only preserve your phone's operational activity but declined calls that might disrupt your shower session. It won't take time Comrade, just do it.

I think I don't need to convince you but I will remind you of what experts according to surveys said; that spending much time on your phone has a lot of health challenges of which depression is one among.

Because your phone battery charged so steadily when turned off, this can greatly help in maintaining the phone's Battery condition and also holding its life.

These Smartphones we have emit radiation on a norm, even when not in use but since they are turned on. You can't dare the consequences of these radiations however, it's advised to keep it as low as possible and this can be done by simply switching off the phone for a while.
