Hello fellow steemit members, it's Christian's Sabbath day... happy Sunday to all.

It's indeed a blessed day which Christians all over the world gather to praise, give thanks and ask God for forgiveness of sins.

Been a Christian also, ain't ought to be left out in today's service either but I couldn't due to rain which made in possible for me in the early hours of today.

Nevertheless, I stayed and prayed indoors. I as well am honouring the day as regards the Sabbath. Continue reading as I walk you through how I spent today's day despite not attending church.

Morning activities

I was supposed to woke up today at 6, the time which I set my alarm for everyday because I've been having difficulty of waking up on my own without the help of alarm.
Unfortunately for me the alarm failed to ring and I later understood that my phone didn't charge overnight although it was charging when I plugged it and went to bed so it's quite obvious that it stopped charging immediately I slept off so the alarm could not ring because it was off.

As per, I later woke up 5 minutes after the scheduled 6 (not bad though) meanwhile church service usually commences at 8. I laid back on bed to continue my sleep with the hope that I'll woking up few minutes before 7 . After few minutes of sleeping back, I was forcefully awakened by some droplets...of rain actually.

I managed to have my bath and dressed 50%, waiting for when the rain will seize that'll go to church.
It didn't stop until when the 8 o'clock time of mass passed, I decided I won't be part of today's mass since the time has elapsed.

I then picked up my rosary and decided to recite to honour the day.

Today being Sunday, the Catholic church recites the Glorious Mysteries of the rosary which includes the following:

• 🙏. The Resurrection

• 🙏. The Ascension
• 🙏. The Descent of the Holy Spirit
• 🙏. The Assumption
• 🙏. The Coronation

The rosary recitation which I started at 49 minutes after 11 ran through 12:11-12:15pm.
While reciting the rosary, i was already parboiling rice with the hope that after I finish praying the rice will as well be done and it went as planned.

I ate rice immediately after reciting the rosary then relaxed indoor although the rain seized by then but it was a kinda boring outside.

Afternoon/Evening Activities

In most of my posts, I combines Afternoon and evening activities. This is because, I mostly have much and more activities in the early hours of the day compare to the rest periods ; Afternoon & evening so it shouldn't be surprising

After spending much time with my phone, I decided it's time for siesta, it was some minutes to 3. The planned nap turned into deep sleep but I never regretted when I woke up because it was still boring outside.
I never visited nor wished to visit, neither to be visited by anyone.

As of this time of writing this post, the time is 5:26pm and I'm very okay thou feeling hungry. Hoping that, after hitting Post on this publication, I'll again edit one of my blog post here on steemit then have my shower (though it's cold) and dinner then retire for the day.
