I'm super excited for participating in the contest organized by my very own city, Port Harcourt under the leadership of sir/mentor @Prolee; I always bow low wherever I'm, whenever I'm about to mention his name coz he's simply the BEST🤞with the title:

INTRODUCTION

With due respect to all steemians reading me now, may i please make use of this medium to shower some accolades to my roots and foundation on Steemit Blockchain; The greatest and most loving, concerned and caring community #steemalive for the past contests they've been and still organizing therefore promoting Steemit in different angles.

Still on the existing permission, I wish to say a very big thank you to my country #nigeria for the universities they've got and for all efforts made to ensure that all universities are under good condition, lacking nothing for smooth learning of her future leaders . indeed it's highly commendable.

There is no doubt that the country has numerous higher institutions which one can bet are the best and doing well . Of all these higher institutions I choose
Benue State University (BSU) Makurdi as my best University in Nigeria

Why Benue State University is my best choice

Among numerous reasons why I like and choose Benue State as my best choice is that, the University seems to stand firm on her mission which is

" To be a Centre of Excellence in creating knowledge and developing a complete person who is capable of not only responding to the cultural, social, political and economic needs of the environment but also setting the agenda for change. Source

As it aims to to be the University of first choice in Nigeria, Africa and among the top 200 in the world.
Since her establishment, the university has found herself in the history of Nigerian educational history as a foremost/respected centre of academic excellence since attaining many areas in academic over the years.

It's good to mention that, the university was prized the best State University in Nigeria for 2003/04 academic session by the National Universities Commission (NUC) same period when then Vice chancellor Professor David Ker was also awarded the best performing vice chancellor of state owned universities. Again in 2006, the Benue State University also was awarded the best governing University owned by the state From NUC

About Benue State University (Description, location, community & Current Vice chancellor)

The University is owned and controlled by the Benue State government of Nigeria.
The University was established by the state government with the enactment of Benue state University Edict No. 1 and 1991 and took off in the academic year 1992/1993 with just four faculties viz;
Arts, Education,
Science and Social Sciences.
The area which occupied 6 square kilometers is located just by the Benue River bridge.

Place I would love someone to visit in BSUM

• 1. There is this particular area in the university called "Labour market" here, they sells things at a dope price😍; snacks foods and so, they also photocopy things here . I would advise anyone visiting the school to explore this place.
     

• 1. Benue State University library: I also recommend this place for anyone visiting the versity. As beautifully designed outward so is the inner . Students enjoys cool atmosphere while reading in the library.

Would you allow someone to take his child or children to that school?

One of the major challenges faced by students in the higher institution of learning especially in Nigeria is accomodations, tuition fees, poor learning structure and feeding which aren't challenges in BSUM.

To prove my points in terms of food, you all can agree with me that Benue State is a state which all kinds of foods can be found and as such, at handsome price compare to states that imports food . The university also structures their students in a cirene environment with up to date buildings halls and hostels. By these and many more advantages I can strongly convince anyone willing to enroll his or her child in Benue State University.
