DIARY GAME REPORT FOR 27TH MAY 2021 BY @barna.uzoigwe

Introduction

I have been away for sometime now, but thank goodness I am back to our wonderful SteemAlive community after such a brief timeout. I hope we are all steeming alive and doing so great in our respective locations...
Here is another diary game session with me, this time, it is the Children's day experience with my family especially the kids. 27th May of every year is a date set aside to celebrate our Children both those within and outside Nigeria.

MORNING

It was a very special day indeed for the children, so, after the morning devotion and usual rituals, my children were the next to be given attention. I prayed for and played with them before leaving for work. They deserved some special treatment different from the other days cos it was really their day. Soon I'll be at my workplace but the little time with them worth the while.

The day's activities work were not done with rapt attention because my whole mind was distracted towards finishing up and returning back to my Children to continue the hang out with them. A little too soon, I made my way back home to continue from where we left off, but this time, we decided to go out to join other children in a play park to revel in the children's day moments.
At the play park, we met parents like us who also came to give their owns kids some good treats, this gave the park a different spark, another dimension to the groove of the day.
There were varieties of events at the park for the kids; good music, dance, lessons, food drinks. They really enjoyed their time at the park.

I am happy the kids had some great moments though they were scared by a few of the entertaining objects worn by individuals who were paid to entertain them. my son especially couldn't cope with the sights of the spiderman and micky mouse who danced for them to keep them entertained

In the Evening

By 4pm, it was time to call it a day, We needed to go home on time considering the security situation in the land presently.
On getting home, everyone had gotten enough to their satisfaction both from the fun out there and rich meals which were also available at the park, except for me, who needed to take some light food while I took up some research studies.

It was quite a memorable day. Big thanks to my wife for assisting me put together the activity schedule that wowed our children on their special day.
