Preparation
After cutting the periwinkle, I properly rinse the Periwinkles in water and with the addition of salt . This is to ensure that sand, mud and other specks of dirt are washed off.
Wash your stock fish and meat(chicken) properly, put them in your cooking pot, slice your onion. add the sliced onion, a bit of salt, small amount of pepper and seasoning(maggi) to it so it can be tasty and place on a stove for heating.
Pound the pepper and crayfish together with the help of mortal and pestle. Pluck, wash and slice the vegetables properly, and ensure there is no sand in the vegetable.
While boiling the chicken alongside stock fish, add the palm oil into the cooking pot so it can boil.. Add the dried fish.
Add the grind fresh pepper and crayfish for 10 minutes. I added small amount of ofor to thicken the soup. Allow for at least 10 minutes.
Then I added the grind egusi, turned it and Allowed to boil for at least 10 minutes. I added the periwinkle and allow to boil for 2 minutes.
Add the sliced vegetables and allow to boil for at least 3 minutes. Taste to access the salt content if not enough add more till you get your desired taste.
