Hello friends of steemit! Greetings to you all from this end. How's the weather condition over there,we are in rainy season here in Nigeria.

I welcome you to my diary for Sunday, 10th May, 2021.

It was the second Sunday of the month, another day to be grateful to God for.And it's also Mother's Day, a day set aside to recognize and appreciates our mothers for their love,care and impact.

The anticipated Lagos Steemalive Meetup was today as well.

Getting up early,prayed and then prepared for church. Service usually begins with Worker's Meeting by 7.30am.

I needed to leave church earlier so I could meet up for the Lagos Steemalive Meetup by 2pm,since I was coming from Ikorodu. Usually takes over two hours without traffic form my palce to UNILAG.

I changed my clothes and began to pack my bag for school. We were resuming the next day, and the Lagos Steemalive Meetup was taking place at my school,Unilag Lagoon Front; killing two birds with a stone.

I had made a cake the previous day for my mum, as a token to say "Thank you for all you do,Mum" . So before I left,I presented the cake to her. She was happy to receive it. She prayed for me,I was glad she liked it. We took some shots together.👇

I left for the Meetup. @meekey41 caught up with me at Yaba busstop,where we boarded the campus shuttle down to UNILAG.

We arrived there, with Google map,we located the Lagoon Front. Didn't remember exactly where it is again since I moved to College 3 years ago.

As we walked down,I took some nice shots along.

She encouraged everyone to be active and Consistent on Steemit. She explained how steemit works, essence of steem power up, benefits of joining the Steemalive curation trail, Inviting others to join steemit as well.
She also talked about parttaking in contests, paying attention to the rules and also tags for every contest.

Light refreshments were served. We were about 22 in attendance.@talktofaith promised to give everyone in attendance 0.5steem. I have received mine☺️.
