"SEC | S19W4: Active and Fun Teaching Strategies"
A good teacher would always want to make his or her students feel happy in the class by creating an interactive and fun class to make the classroom atmosphere conducive enough for learning. 100 percent of students learn faster in a fun classroom. Today I have shared my opinion on how to make my classroom fun.
When teaching, what steps will you use to create an active and fun classroom atmosphere?

As a teacher, for me to create an active and fun classroom atmosphere I will take different steps to engage with my students and make learning enjoyable for my students. To make that easier below are some of the steps that I would take to achieve an active and fun classroom atmosphere.
I will create an interactive lessons:
The first thing that I will do, is to incorporate activities that would require the participation of my students, such as debates, group discussions, and interactive digital tools, or make them busy with experiments.
I will use different teaching methods:
As a teacher, I will use a mix of teaching methods, such as games videos, lectures, and storytelling to keep my students interested in the subject am teaching them.
I will incorporate mindfulness and movement breaks:
As a teacher, I will incorporate short breaks for students to stretch up their bodies or I will engage them in physical activity. By doing this my students will be ready to learn as they will be alert in the classroom.
I will use real-life situations to relate:
When teaching my students I will connect them to real-life examples or current trending events according to the material that I am using to teach. Students learn fast and pay attention when real-life examples or current events are used in the classroom.
I will Solicit Student Feedback:
While teaching, I will frequently ask students for feedback on the subject am teaching them and I will be willing to adapt based on their suggestions. By doing so, the students will know that I value their opinion and I am committed to improving their learning and making the classroom atmosphere fun for them.
In conclusion, as a teacher by creating the strategies that I have shared above, my classroom atmosphere will be lovely, fun, and enjoyable for learning.

Achieve Higher Participation:
The students would tend to be more active in the classroom by feeling more comfortable through sharing their thoughts and asking me questions.
Increased engagement:
Students will be more engaged and pay attention to my lessons. With this, I have captured the minds of the students.
Improved understanding:
By using different methods such as real-life examples or current teaching the students for the classroom atmosphere to be fun the results would be better understanding among the students.
Positive classroom atmosphere:
I said earlier that I would engage the students in physical activity and by doing so the results would result in creating a more positive atmosphere that is enjoyable for learning.

In my opinion, the weaknesses and strengths of the strategies I have used would be as follows:
The strength
Increased the interest and engagement of students.
Enhanced retention and understanding of the students
Creating a positive classroom atmosphere
Improved social skills and collaboration among students. It is said that debate brings students together.
The weaknesses
It is time-consuming to interact with students.
Resource intensive. It may require the use of additional resources for teaching.
Poor student responses as not all students may pay attention.
It's challenging to balance fun and learning to ensure that the primary objective which is learning is achieved.

Totalmente de acuerdo contigo, yo fui profesora por 30 años, y lo más importante para nosotros como educadores es que el estudiante se sienta a gusto, en un ambiente lleno de respeto y confianza dentro del aula de clases, la mejor técnica que podemos usar para lograrlo es crear una clase interactiva y divertida, donde todos los niños se involucren y participen de manera muy activa así podemos lograr un aprendizaje más eficaz.
Para poder crear este ambiente interactivo debemos acudir al trabajo en equipo, reunirlos en grupos, haciendo como bien tu lo mencionas, debates, participaciónes grupales utilizando todas esas herramientas dígitales, videos, hay también muchas app interactivas que son muy buenas y que también tenemos a mano para que ellos no pierdan el interés y puedan tener su atención al 100 % en la clase dada
Es muy importante también dar uso a situaciones de la vida real, esas nos va a permitir acercarnos más a ellos y crear un ambiente de confianza, utilizando todas estas estrategias haremos del aula de clases un ambiente más acogedor e ideal para impartir la enseñanza.

Some students are very talented and understand easier how to work. Some are a little bit shy that's why they feel hesitate to cooperate with and take part in activities.
