Rightfully in teaching there are many approaches to use when beginning or introducing a new lesson to the students. They can be in any forms and your mentioned one from which is playing of music for the learners so at least have a minute or two to have the mind relaxed before the main lecture commences. With a good lesson plan it will be easy to deliver the lessons to the students and that is why most teachers are encouraged to learn how to prepare one in order to make them control the affairs of each class session with ease.

Indigene time management is very important and crucial and that I agree to you. In this concept we were giving topic which is micro teaching which involves a short space of time appropriately provided (20 minutes). Micro teaching will definitely be different from a proper class session and as though if one could be able to manage the 20 minutes giving then it's a sign that the skill of time management is surely present in that teacher.
