'F is for Family' comes to an end: Netflix renews its animated series for a fifth and final season

It may not have made as much noise as other of his animated proposals like 'Bojack Horseman' or 'Big Mouth', but 'F is for Family' has managed to build a good fan base over the years. Fans who are now on the warpath because Netflix has announced that it has renewed the series for a fifth and final season.

Co-created by comedian Bill Burr based on his own experiences growing up in the seventies of the last century, 'F is for Family' introduced us to the day-to-day life of the Murphys, a somewhat politically incorrect family (for the time) made up of four sons.

The series responded to the need to have a family animated comedy on Netflix to try to capture the audience of FOX's block of animated series ('The Simpsons', 'Family Guy', 'Bob's Burgers', etc). It also helps to have as a partner in the creation of the series a veteran of 'The Simspon' such as Michael Price, who has been with the yellow family for almost twenty years.
