The founder of the organization, General Bethlehem (Will Patton), is a man who took the ideas of a writer named Nathan Holn as a pioneer and made his own way by getting rid of his previous life. He sees her playing Shakespeare plays in a village, but does not dwell on it and monitors the villager. His goal is to get only three soldiers and supplies. However, the Postman is included as a third party without any account.

In my opinion, the acting of the postman and the leader of the enemy army is very high quality with the subject and concept he describes. It's one of my favorite movies. In the final scene, it is also nice that instead of everyone fighting and killing each other, only the leaders fight and the soldiers make their own decisions. I fell in love with Kevin Costner because of this movie.
