So I did this last week with Rick & Morty and said Solar Opposites is the next show for you.
And I thought I will continue the run and say if you loved the 2008 sitcom 'The Inbetweeners' by Iain Morris and Damon Beesley, 'THE FIRST TEAM' is should be at the top of your recommended comedies.
It is a sport based sitcom set around a fictional premier league club and these 3 footballers Matty, Benji and Jack. While each of them are in a different period of their career (a recent transfer, a sporadic reserve and a first team player). They are all good 'lads' and get up to all kinds of mischief inside and outside the club. Dodging crazy naked rival team-mate Petey, avoiding trouble from HR and getting criticised by season ticket holder fans, Damon and Iain truly show how its not all glitz and glamour when attempting to live the "lavish" life of a young footballer.
ALSO, WILL ARNETT IS IN IT. Yes, Bojack, GOB, Stranz Van Waldenburg, that Will Arnett is in the show and has his fantastic moments as well.
If you need a harmless, no brainpower TV show with classic British comedy elements; the sarcasm overload, the insanely awkward situations where you cringe so hard and some great 'BANTER', this is the one for you.
