The fair today

The fair is no longer what it used to be. Everything is getting smaller, the rides are not much fun anymore and the prices are alarmingly high. On my way home, I had a look at the candy stall. The candy canes are so horribly expensive. Never mind. In a few years' time, the fair will no longer exist.

    In my country, too, the economy is suffering. Even sweets are difficult to eat so it is better to make them at home.

      I agree. If you can it's better to make your own. I tried french fries but it was a disaster.
