Contribution which are synonyms for payment, subsidy, donation, offering and...

Payments is what many are not comfortable with. I am no exception. I would love to invest more here on Steemit but it's not in it. Not yet. First comes first which are all those costs for living. The rent, power, water, taxes and those bills I never counted with.
Most of us feel uncomfortable if it comes to paying someone. On the other hand we love to receive money, count with it and it causes stress makes us angry if we need to wait for it. We do not like to wait for 'our' money. We see it as a right to receive it. If we worked for it, deserved it doesn't matter we want what others have.
If you count with something it disappoints if you are forgotten or worse scammed and lost everything. I read they intend to take our bankaccounts/savings away from us. How to live? Not by the grace of god but the government.
Although, donations, subsidies are rarely for the common people, those in need. Big companies receive them which is odd. Why do those multinationals who filled their accounts for years receive donations payed by the people since that is what it is? Subsidies are taxes and taxes are paid by all of us except by some wealthy. Why not let those companies go bankrupt? A company not healthy should stop not being saved over and over again and keep raising it's prices.

O yes contribution is a good thing and it has helped improve my livelihood is diverse ways especially when it come to paying some heavy bills like house rents and executing other projects that require heavy capital. I am into so many contribution and I have never been defrauded before. Thanks for sharing this insight @xiao-aine

Nothing to add to that. It's better not to depend on others but that's how society is built. Who pays you owns you these days. We lost the: Hey, I am good you need me and reward me for the service I give you!
But also the customer is king.
